Why is joker ps3 exclusive?

I just picked up my Batman AA, and when i took the manuel behind it, it says exclusive, joker,trailers, dev diary, and unlockables.

What i want to know is, why are these exclusive? Did sony pay for there advertisement or something?

Because Microsoft pretty much took everything else.

Since the original PS3 is black and the original xbox360 is white the PS3 is considered the "darker" system, which is why the joker (darker, evil) is exclusive to the "darker" system lol

because eidos interactive is owned by square enix who prefer the ps3...and sony probably paid for it...yarou1000

Games cost more to make these days. So developers cant afford to make console-exclusive games like they used to. But the console manufactures want money, too. So when a game is multiconsole, they try to present a reason to get the game on their console vs another one.

For example, if someone owns a 360 and a PS3, and they want to buy GTA4, what console are they going to buy it on? The 360, because it has TLaD DLC. If someone owns a 360 and PS3 and Batman AA comes out, which console are they going to buy it on? PS3, because sony made sure you could only play as the joker on the PS3.

Since Eidos is now owned by Square Enix, they have a stronger relationship with Sony because SE has always had a strong relationship with Sony.

sony said they won't pay for exclusive 3rd partys, and SE doesnt own eidos they denyed the offer they got about 6 months ago, i think there partners.Javieralijandro

How does square have a strong relationship with Sony? Square published Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant and developed Star Ocean as well as made FF 13 go multiplat so I don't see how SE has a strong relationship with Sony. There are always deals going on.

Because Microsoft didn't throw their money at the developers like they would normally do to get exclusive. Consider yourself lucky you got this great game at all.
