it's the EPITOME (finally got to use the word ^____^ ) of a shooter online. They mixed everything good from Team Fortress 2 and Cod4 into one and using a clan system reminicint of halo 3. Also, if like the first one it will have a pretty good single player campaign with a good story. Not many shooters now bring anything new. Cod4 was as generic as it gets, but it optimized everything well
its supposed 2 incoporate all other FPS's into one....therefore i'm hopin it'll be the ultimate shooter...personally i luved killzone 1 so i cant wait 2 see this
I'm not quite sure...people keep saying it's because of the amazing graphics...but I think Far Cry 2's graphics are far superior so I'm not sure.FFF4N4T1C
really? When I look at Far Cry 2 I can see so many flaws..I think Killzone 2 looks better for sure but the fact that Far Cry 2 has all that grass and jungle stuff moving is a good excuse. They both look incredible though. We would have to see more to find out what sets Killzone 2 apart but if you think about it, all the good shooters dont bring anything new, they just do everything right, COD4 for example like someone else said. I think it'll have a very immersive story that pulls the players in and the environments are incredibly detailed and with things like the muzzle flash of guns inside dark buildings creating their own realtime shadows and the smoke from the barrels when shooting, all these little details will help add to an amazing experience. I don't know yet if it'll bring tons of new stuff to the table but it'll be extremely fun and breathe taking in my opinion. A few unique things I can point out is in multiplayer theirs some sort of cloaking system and drone you can have or something like that, their are also some destructable things and as far as I know most shooters dont have these(Yes I'm aware some do). The multiplayer sounds very promising overall. I think we will have to wait for more information on this game because still their has been barely anything.
well the amazing grapics which farcry 2 arent suprior, nothing wrong with that, but farcry has to render alot of things in one go, so i dont expect it.
But i was the same, i thought killzone 2 looked no different to anyone. Till i seen the gameplay thing at E3 where they shown multiplayer. and i think its gonna rivial CoD4 for multiplayer, it looks brilliant, the clan support is brilliant, plus the brilliant graphics also, the different classes, and the way you can mix them up. Now im looking forward to it

IDK, I have yet to see footage from Killzone 2 that impresses me. I hear all the time about people being amazed by the in-game graphics, but I just haven't been. Far Cry 2 graphics have flaws, but they did a much better job of capturing incredible photorealism in the environment. I understand Killzone 2 wasn't shooting for that, but the graphics in Far Cry 2 just look better to me.
I'm pumped for the game-play. I really liked the whole, "Everything in first person" about it. The grenade throwing, OMG!! Killzone felt so awesome, but it was disappointing that they didn't tune it up. I think they might fix that this time around though. :P
Killzone has this "feel" and control like no other FPS I've played.

I think Killzone 2 loooks like a really good game and I will probably buy that one in the fall. The game that I'm skeptical about is Resistance 2....as of now I probably won't buy that game and will buy far cry 2 instead seeing as Far Cry 2 looks like the better game and not to mention has a mapmaker.
Apparently they are going to copy CoD4 gunplay, and as long as the added features are implemented in a proper way, Im expecting for a great game. I hope it has offline Cooperative like the first Resistance, it would be amazing :D
