I have seen the screenshots, I have seen the videos. The graphics seem pretty sweet, but that is the only thing that looks promising SO FAR! All I know about the game right now is that you build your own levels and you play through them. That doesn't seem very entertaining to me. I do know that you can play levels that other ps3 owners have made as well. But this game does not seem like the game that I would spend $62 bucks on. It seems more like a psn $10 download. (just my opinion though). I really hope they give us more detail on the game, or at least release a short demo.
It's something different I guess. People love customization and this game seems to let you build everything around you. I don't exactly see what's so entertaining about it either, but it looks like it's worth a try.
it's for creative people. and there's also pre-made levels made by the developers in the game. but the thought of creating your own level. and sharing it with people is kidna rad. especially if you're like me and like to create stuff.

I dont think it has anything to do with being creative. Im creative. But i dont use my ps3 to be creative i use it to playin f'ing games and some movies. I can do something more productive with my creativity
O_o i dont see how it doesnt look amazing...you don't even need to be creative...just download other peoplez maps they have created and it's like a limitless game...and u can slap people ^_^

me? meaning that they are uncreative? well. there's room for that too. but i for one like a change of pace sometimes. and since i love sitting here making different things in Photoshop, 3Dstudio max, flash etc etc . this game is gonna be a fun way to make levels for the people out there and let them download it and if they beat before a certain time. they'll get prices. and stuff like that. and i just like the idea of that :D

Other than the fact that it's pretty much a user creative-based game, I'm not really sure..maybe because the possibilities within the game are limitless??? I wasn't too excited when I saw the screenshots and videos myself...I'll wait until a demo is released to further access the matter....I suggest you do the same....
people have different opinions on games. Many liked Ninja Gaiden for ps3 but i hated the entire thing. Different opinions. The people that like LBP like the fact that they can create any lvl they can think of and share it with friends. They can even make the levels together which is nice. I am very exited for this game myself because i love creating my own things. The second i finished portal on the pc i immediately god Source SDK to make my own maps.

Now that its pushed back practically almost a year i dont give a damn about the game. Why waste my time drooling over it when i have to wait so long? Who cares if they would have released a version that wasnt done, people want a Home beta, but when it comes to LBP they would rather wait. Makes no damn sense to me. They can always release a patch. Anyway, thats how i see it.

If you don't think the game will be anything special, fine. But I know i'll be having the time of my life when the game is released. Each to their own.

I WAS psyched for this game, but like i said, im not wasting my time being hyped up for almost a year. I personally dont know what they could be having trouble with to delay it that much. It reminds me of FFXII on how much they are stalling. Its sickening.
