Anyways I had my ps3 for about a year now, its the 40gb model. Every since I had it seems to be loud. Is it this loud normaly or could it be my tv stand?

Yea, make sure that you give your ps3 room to breathe.

Then your PS3 is most likely gasping for air.

Congrats. If you positioned you ps3 inside the middle compartment then you aided in the death of your ps3. The only thing you could have done worse is put it inside the an oven.

Vaccumm it..... and then put your PS3 stand up right out of your TVstand by your TV, so it can breath.
