Why isnt MGS4 in native HD (im confused and upset) POLL

EDIT: I MENT MGO BETA GRAHICS SO FAR

ive been playing the beta and im loving it but im very annoyed with the grahix! Look, this is a ps3 exclusive and honestly i cant even think of a ps3 exclusive that is not in native HD. Think about it, mlb 08 the show, resistance, warhawk, uncharted, ratchet etc are all in native 720p and look very sharp, crisp and clean. But MGS4 is 656p? I can def see the difference between exclusives and multi plats and mgo beta, seriously looks like a multi-platform game. (note: bc of the grahix in can def see this game going multiplat) Go ahead and say, "well cod4 is 600p and its great", no i dont care, or "its only the beta" well its not getting any better. This is mgs people! On ps1 and ps2 mgs games were the best looking games and mgs beta looks good and thats it. I demand an uncharted polish to it! So like kojima says that the gamplay is where he likes it but graphically hes not happy, well neither am I. Personally i wouldnt mind if they delayed it till next year to improve the graphix at all.

Im going to buy this game day one bc of the story but im seriously disappointed

Online portions of games always have lower texture qualities and sometimes resolutions. Beside I doubt that the final product will be in 656P. They just did that so that they can relieve the bandwidth stress on their servers, since this is only a beta.Liquid-Prince

You gotta understand that the beta is to test a lot of things, and sometime it won't look nice. You probably have the beta because you can't wait for the final game (which "Spoiler" you will be dissapointed because you are "hyped"). So if you are complaining about the beta, there is something wrong, not with the beta but with your expectations, you should not expect the beta to be nice looking or to actually WORK, because it is a beta. well native doesn't mean everything i mean MGO looks a lot better then Resistence did and thats native like you said it looks better then warhawk too. ratchet looks really nice and i'd say graphically mgo is about even with ratchet on a technical level though it is a bit of a strange comparisson.

if it looks good who cares is my opinion, and your entitled to your own. the only thing i don't understand is why native is such a big deal. you used resistence and mgo looks better then that so thats where im a bit confused about the whole native thing (if they can get the game to look better but its still not 720p native would that honestly still bother you)

i dont have an hdtv so maybe thats why i dont see it but to me the beta looks nice and even more important than the looks its a hell of a lot of fun to play im just happy i get to play such a fun game for FREE and i think you should be too

ok so your telling me you couldn't have put $5 down on mgs4 got the beta code then the very next day cancel your preorder and get your $5 back and keep playing the beta that sure sounds like free to me and besides it did not come with the package think about all the people who did not have to preorder the game to get the beta code they were giving them out free of charge on the mgo website the people who got there beta code from there did not spend a dime

Im playing it; yet I have no reserve made for MGS4. Besides, the game will came for free with MGS4, though it will be the starter pack. But I think that they decided to charge you double since you are not equating MGS4 there.

I opened one for the beta and to watch the dvd, while keeping the other sealed for my collection (never selling on Ebay). One week later I changed one of those pre-orders to GTA4.

MGS4 will play in 720p and/or 1080p native. If your hdtv supports FULL 1080p, then it will play 1080p native.

Topic Creator, Please change the title of your poll because this has nothing to do with MGS4, its a completely different game called MGO. If you wanna see the graphics of MGS4, then go check out those gameplay videos of teh game that Kojima showed himself.

PS: MGS4 is supposed to run at 720P at 30ps. It is not 1080P, but you can't tell the difference if your HDTV is smaller than 50" anyway.

Guys Chill out Kojima is a Once in a Lifetime Game Creator, he will fix what ever he sees wrong with the game, he is a proven perfectionist and an extremly dedicated individual the Visuals will look better.

the textures in mgo beta look better than resistance but i think resistance looks better in the background, much sharper. just my opinion i guess
