And the answer is simple...

Sony doesn't want anything to steal the thunder of MGS4 right now.

So I'm guessing that once MGS4 is released on June 12th, we should get big updates on all these games. The fact that Insomniac will release Resistance 2 gameplay footage on June 12th is a taste of things to come :)

kz2 has been getting a lot of coverage. theres that infamous e3 trailer. also, guerilla had a playable demo at a press event a while ago.

ff13 hasnt been getting a whole lot of new info, but thats not sony's doing. SE is responsible. and of the info that has been released, media outlates have drooled over it and put it as frontpage news.

lbp is constantly getting hailed as the game to kick off casual gaming for the ps3. its way more publicity than almost all other small projects get. sony reps praise it every chance they get.

Might be true, but whats sad is that I dont even care much for MGS4. My sole purpose for buying a PS3 at launch was Killzone2. So Im starting to feel cheated. Thank god for COD4.

One of the best way to kill a game is to overhype it way before release. Daikatana's a perfectly good example. Beside, any game info released right now probably will just be viewed as side line with GTA and MGS filling the news. Not to mention that PS3 in Japan is suffering right now with no major release until MGS in June.

to be honest the first Killzone was'nt anything special, so i just dont understand the hype for 2. heavy rain and the latest FF wont be out for a while and there are an abundance of blockbuster exclusives coming out before it (MGS4, LBP, possibly Haze if it lives up to expectations). the only one u listed that i cant believe isint getting more attention is LBP. personaly i am craving this game, and if it came down to it would buy it over MGS4 (i never played any other MGS game). but yeah there are way bigger games coming out before hand, thats why we havent heard much.
