SImple because the reviewers were easily fustrated with the mechanics of the games controls. I'm casual gamer but own all three systems. I recently picked up Lair I believe the reviews on the game are some what off. The Sixaxis control work perfectly and find no trouble what so ever handling the dragon. The only problems I find which could have rectified with a few add ons were the targeting system. Since the scope of the game is so huge with enemys surrounding you it was easy to lock on enemys you didn't really want to target. I think the game would have been a success if they had added some recticle and a radar map or screen of a sort. It would have solved the "control problem". With enemys all around you and new objectives constantly thrown at you it was easy to get vertigo. I thinkhaving areticle and a radar to Warhawk is what makes the sixaxis work and if applied to Lair would have made it so as well.
Because Microsoft paid them to not give it a good score. ShawDowFXDAMN YOU M$ AND YOUR ENDLESS POOLS OF $$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!
" Abysmal controls and targeting are a constant struggle and crush every aspect of gameplay, from flight to combat The cinematic camera causes you to lose your bearings by zooming around every which way Timed mission objectives require too much precision Action is shallow and unrewarding. "
