Why my ps3 fat framerate became so low?.At first i had a shitty tv and used the red,yellow,white cable.The frame rate was normal i was pretty happy with the frame rate i had on the old shitty tv..Then i bought samsung syncmaster bx2450 monitor i had a hdmi cable and when i used the hdmi cable with the monitor the frame rate was very bad.I remember when i played gta v on the shitty tw the framerate was normal.And i tried to play again on the shitty tv and now the frame rate is very bad to on the tv too.I don't know what i did? maybe i messed up something in the configurations of the ps3 fat? can anyone help me? i mostly play gta iv or red dead redemption.I think that my system is pretty much messed up.because i read somewhere if you experience bad frame rate with your ps3 you should tray play ps3 exclusive games and there shouldn't be any bad frame rate on ps 3 exclusive game.And i have infamuos 2.I remember when i tried on the old tv the frame rate was good.But now on the monitor the frame rate is very bad .The bad frame rate started when i tried to play with hdmi cable on the samsung monitor ;/
Those games you mentioned don't exactly run consistent or high frames per second. So how bad are we talking here? And I don't know how experiencing low frame rates correlates to your system dying to those who have mentioned it... it seems that anytime anyone post any sort of problem with their system, people will just tell you it's dying. I doubt it's dying, but it's hard to know exactly how bad the situation is here.

ur logic is flawed. Call of Duty runs at consisten 60FPS so if this isn't a troll thread, t hen that game is ur benchmark. Also games like Guitar hero also run smooth. Infamous 2 is a massive open world game. it's not gonna give a consistent framerate.

don't you see what i said in my second post?I was playing the infamous 2 on my old shitty tv and the framerate was fine.But now when i am using in on my monitor the framerate is pretty bad.And thats why i created this thread.Maybe people will know how to fix the problem.
I have a 55" Samsung TV 120hz and it looked kind of choppy until I adjusted the clear motion rate thing on it.

Clear motion is only available on 120hz Television sets. Not that it really matters as far as the PS3 is concerned.... PS3 can only transmit at 60hz. 60hz = 60FPS. And the guts of the PS3, don't have the power to dish out 60FPS, anyways.... Regardless, the cables have nothing to do with framerates. HDMI is no faster than Composite video. HDMI is all about resolution not FPS/refresh rates. CRT's/Picture Tube sets have always been faster than any LED/LCD/Plasma on the market and probably always will be. With that in mind, it's most likely that what you consider low we all consider normal. You've been spoiled with the only asset that CRT's have over modern television sets. Could also be that a monitor designed for a PC, isn't as compatible with a console designed to run on a Television set.

If you truly are genuine, however, have u tried reseting the picture output settings on the PS3 by holding the ON button until you hear the triple beep?

yup i read everything.But what i Meant that my ps3 frame rate got worse that it was before.I come to conclusion that i will need take my ps3 to someone who can repair it.

if you explain this issue in the same way to a repair guy as u have explained it to us, he is gonna think ur crazy. Take the PS3 to a friends house and run a side by side comparison with their PS3

like i said i tried everything.Nothing seems working.i live in small town,so i don't know any friend who has ps3.I just know one who has xbox.And when he played forza 4 or 3 i don't really know.The frame rate was fine.And when i played need for speed shift on my ps3 the frame rate was very bad about 15 fps.I know they are not the same games.But the frame rate should be similiar.And what i meant again that my ps3 frame rate got worse than before.So There Is something wrong with my ps3

there isn't any place in my town who can fix my ps3.Where did you saw that i said that there is place in my town where i can fix my ps3? i didn't said that.And i tried do to all safe mode options.i tried use the ps3 on the different tv's one was hd.other two was shitty tv's s.i tried vacuum my ps 3.I tried turn off some options in the settings menu.It didn't help.So i really don't know what do to more.But i made my decision that i will take my ps 3 to someone who can repair it.And please if you can't help me,stop this arguing thing.I need help not to argue with someone.

I have tried to help as much as i can, but nothing seems to work. The cost of sending a fat model out of town (because apparently no one in town can fix it, and he doesn;t know anyone in town to compare his PS3 to), in my honest opinion the OP should just buy a new ultra slim model and be done with this.
