Why no patches?

It seems like nobody is taking advantage of the Update feature of the PSP for games, other than Sony. Anyone know why?

I know of some things that can be changed for KH BBS:

-The ability to load another game without having to die first

-Everything in "Config" is stored in the System file rather than the individual files

I thought you might be talking about a patch to make BBS load even faster, but your points are a complete non-issue. And I'm sure plenty of games utilize the update feature. At least, if the PSP had a bigger userbase. Of gamers, not those other people, I mean.

This feature is reasonably new but could be well utilised to bring back the PSP's user base by developers going back and creating some kind of DLC for older titles.. even if it's a new character costume here or a new weapon there, it would be something to further the playability of the title thus giving users moreincentive to hang onto the titles for longer..

Of course with newer titles they could give bonus levels or expansion patches.. but it's quite right in saying this feature isn't getting used as it should..
