Why no ps1 classic love on the US store?

I've checked out the list of ps1 classics on the Japanese PlayStation Store and I'm wondering why they have so many games and the US store hardly has any. Anyone know why we're not getting any love?

They're working on emulating and translating versions for the US. We'll get them sometime. What I hate is that whenever I want one, it dissapers. I was about to buy Resident Evil, but I can't find it anymore:(

I found it. I don't know why, but sometimes, I don't see some of them in the PS1 Classics section.

I just really wanna see RE2, RE3 and Silent Hill and I can be happy.DiabeticDood

I really want them to add FF VIII and IX. And Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Vagrant Story, Grandia, Parasite Eve, Parastie Eve II, Persona 2(will probably be released on UMD like the first and third), Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2, and Xenogears.

Yeah but it's 90% ShovelWare, man. Or did you really want a copy of "Ford Racing" and "SuperStrike Bowling", or whatever? If they would expand the CAPCOM games (Dino Crisis, RE2, etc) then we'd shut up for awhile... but honestly the store is full of tripe no one wanted the first time it was released. A grocery filled with nothing but sour kraut & foot powder gets a little unappealing as a purchasing customer who's hungry.

Yeah. I log on everytime I go onto PSN. I found it, just decided not to get it.

I want FFVIII on there so bad =/biscuits3

I got tired of waiting for FFVIII and bought the discs and will play on my PS3. I'd still love to see more old classics thought.

I've had the black label discs of FFVIII since it came out, I just want to be able to play it on my PSP. :P

I know. Seriously they need to pick up on their game... three weeks of rather crappy updates is a little disheartening. The last thing I saw worth a purchase was maybe the Tomb Raider titles and the Wild Arms 2 game. I know they promised to update it regularly now, but sheez whats the point if it's going to be stuff no one cares about.

indeed, US might be worse then *** but EU is even WORSE. we dont even have MGS1 -.- so that means I needed to buy from US and then keep chaning account on my psp which is annoying

they should put ALL ps1 games on the store.. then id buy them all lol.

There's been hints that when the Go is release, so will quite a few PS1 and PSP games on the PSN. I'm not holding my breath, but I feel even worse for those in EU. If ours is bad...

Bloody Roar is all you need! lol But no it is good I think. A LOT better than the DSiware. :(
