Would someone please give me reasons why I should get a PS3 and why shouln't I get a PS3? I can't afford one now. Only until the price drops. My only interest in the PS3 is simply the games. I don't play online, play music or movies on any system. Sony makes systems that somehow has all the best games in my favorite genres like action adventure, rpgs, platformers, fighting games. I'm looking forward to games that sre coming out after 2008 so thats another reason why I can't get a PS3 now.

Well considering your only interest is games and games alone, and you like the Sony brand, pretty simple, get a PS3, you can expect the same and better then the PS2 and if you liked that you'll like PS3, Sony has always had the most games and biggest variety in the end, and they've got exclusives that are like massive like MGS and FF, and well this is how i see it, if you like 360 exclusives more, get 360, i have a 360 but the exclusives arnt appealing to me GoW is fun for a limited time and Halo 3 is whats left for me, but it could be different for you, and considering PS3 has blu ray(not that you care about that) it means that games would be longer...you would have a longer singleplayer experience which id think would be good for you

Sounds like you have yourself already convinced to wait until you can afford it and those games you are looking forward to get closer to release, which sounds like a good plan in your case. Save up the rest of the cash and allow extra for taxes and accessories.
I was gonna get a 360 but the only exclusive games that interested me were Halo 3, Gears of War, and Fable 2. Comparing to PS3 I think theres a dozen so far which most of them are 2008 releases.
Get a PS3 it's a sweet system and it won't let you down. But you should try and take advantage of some of the other "non-gaming" features, they're quite neat.
You should get a PS3 because Sony is the King of video games. Resistance Online is really fun. You can play online for free and download demos. And pretty soon your going to be able to Download games from NES, SNES, N64, SEGA etc...just so long as you get yourself an emulator.

Here it is dude. If you are having doubts, then wait to get one. Wait until the games that you know you want to play until your retinas detach cone to market then get one. You might get a better price. But you have to also realize that as more and more people get PS3's the accessories will go up in price. The price is very worth what you get in my opinion. If you are looking for features lists, dont ask me cuz I wont waste my time. Take a look at a video of HOME for the PS3 coming soon. Thats gonna be sweet.
i'm interseted in knowing what games you are looking forward to in the ps3 exclusive line up. I say this becuase games like Assin. Creed, VF5 and quite a few games are coming to the xbox three 360 too. So form whaat i heard and know about the ps3 and xbox 360 you should go for the xbox because God knows when sony will drop their prices, the system just came out.

If you cannot afford one, do not play online, or like movies or music, there is no reason you should buy one.

If you cannot afford one, do not play online, or like movies or music, there is no reason you should buy one. I'm interested in the games coming out for it. Okay maybe I'll play some online games and watch some movies on it too.

I honestly think you should wait until the end of this year like around xmas to see if the PS3 has some more good games available. Otherwise the X360 is the better choice right now.
