Every PS3 game on ebay seems to cost so much, for example a copy of elder scrolls Oblivion costs around $35, whilst a copy of oblivion and bioshock combined cost $25, it doesn't make sence why I have to pay so much money for these games.

If your wondering why the costs look high its because Im Australian.

Well maybe because people out there are willing to pay that and why not get the most out of what your selling. Personally, I check playasia and hkofferhouse for deals. Korean games tend to be rather cheap with full english and they are not used.

I've actually bought 2 shirts from Thailand and shipping was free. Since were on the subject I also bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for $25 new in its package 1 month after its release. I've also bought Heavenly Sword for $15 brand new. I find ebay an excellent place to purchase anything for reasonable and cheap prices.

I dunno, $35 for a game with a 93 Metacritic score that you can play for well over 100 hours - doesn't sound like all that bad of a deal to me.

There have been far too many cases of items that simply can't be had anywhere else. Not to mention, the OP says he's from australia...? IN that case, I'm surprised that they even allowed the ps3 to be sold there at all. After all, that's where there was this big court case ruled in favor of modchips for the ps2 because Sony would repeatedly disallow the country to even GET games that had no technical reason not to be released there, or even just flat out holding embargos on compatible games to begin with, forcing users to resort to piracy just to be able to have the choices that Japan and United States get.

I hope I don't get moderated for saying this but the truth is that most of the time all these games sell better on the X360 and as a direct effect there's more saturation in the market of pre-owned games than on PS3.

More games = cheaper

Few games = pricier

Compare the number on ebay and you'll notice that for every game you're looking for there are like 100 for PS3 and like 500 for X360. I'm just making an exaggerated example so you people get the point easily.
