Seriously why did Sony have to make it so complicated with the PSP's Infrastructre setup? Do you really need to be near a freakin wireless router? I dont have a wireless router. I just have regular DSL computer cable for my computer and internet connection.

Alas, an internet connection is required to connect to the internet. If there was a way to magically connect to the internet without that, I'm sure Sony would have been happy to incorporate that.

You have to set up the connection manually if you use DSL. I'm using that too.

You don't a router if you have DSL. The wireless works on it.

you only have to know your encryption method all the other settings can be done automatically, the only weird part is the Open/Shared setting for the router DSL configuration :S
