It's because Playstation Store isn't available for all contries. The PSP Go's games will be download only, thus people would buy the PSP 3000 instead.

Im not going to buy the PSP go, but that doesn't make it a failure. There is a market out there for such a product, especially in Japan. And im sure more people will warm up to it as the price goes down. Still, i think im going to keep my 2000 series.
Yes, its true. Anyways, the idea of having a system in which all your games need to be DL'd is just plain stupid. savetehhaloz
Then how come EA, and all the big publishers are jumping on the iPhone wagon? Maybe for a console it's still not feasible due to the size of the games and download speeds, but for portable gaming devices it doesn't seem stupid. In fact, it seems very lucrative right now.
I think going all digital is a good idea for a portable device. I'll probably only buy Digital games for my PSP from now on because of it, i'm not to attached to portable games so not having a hard copy isn't a big deal for me (at least in terms of the PSP). I want to upgrade to the PSP go but not while its at its current price maybe when it drops in price and they bundle it with a voucher for some game I'm intersted in.
Wait and see..if the PSP Go is worth to get, then i'll sell my 3k to buy one..but my country don't hv PSN... :(
if it was 32 gb, then it wouldnt even be near the word.
but 16 gb is like 70 dollars. it would cost almost 10 dollars less to buy a 3k and a 16gb micro stick off amazon.

There's bluetooth and who knows what Sony is lining up peripheral-wise. I'm guessing they're going to let PS3 controller+Go connectivity.
Plus some people really appreciate the portability. Just try fitting the PSP in an ordinary pocket.
