Why was the PS3 version of Bioshock cancelled?

never.....other than the rumors.

i remember seeing it on Game Informer as both 360 and PS3. what probably happened was that the 360 was the lead SKU for the development, but 2k Games announced it for both systems. but then MS went on and got the game to be exclusive.c0mplex

I love my PS3, but God do I miss my Xbox 360...I genuinely HATE the hardware because it is so poorly designed that it sucks so bad. I have no idea how people tolerate 2 or 3 consoles breaking down. That is absolutely unacceptable to me so I sold it. But then when I see games like Bioshock and Mass Effect coming out for 360, I really wish I hadn't sold the damn thing. I would've totally had the best of both worlds...

"secret" = rumor. no in-game screenshots showing PS3 buttons, and the developer stating that it was exclusive to the 360...that's enough evidence for me.

Its too bad, I mean the recommended PC specs are pretty high. Not everyone will get to play the game, only 360 owners and people willing to spend alot on their pc.kevy619

Ya, sometime defects happen. The 360s defect tends to cause the thing to break down quite quickly. The PS1 and PS2 also had defects, but they werent causing instant death. Honestly though, how could Microsoft have thought that reducing the heatsink size on the gpu they were using was a good idea? Especially considering the 360's casing is smaller than that of a pc...

should have kept it. I kept mine....but then again, I haven't had any problems with my 360 breaking down....but then again, I haven't even turned it on since I got my PS3.

should have kept it. I kept mine....but then again, I haven't had any problems with my 360 breaking down....but then again, I haven't even turned it on since I got my PS3.

Ya, I thought about trading in my 360. Theres no point though, Ill just end up buying another one later.

I'm not sure. But in a past interview on IGN im 100% positive I just don't want to find the link that the director said ps3 was the lead sku
