Wich brand in HDTV's is the best?

I already have a samsung HDTV in my house, due to my work I will move to another town in between week's (on weekends I will return to my house) so Im planning to buy another HDTV for my new place. Yesterday I saw on the store a couple of TV's, I was planning at first  to just buy the "Samsung Bordeaux" but I saw a philips (or panasonic, I dont remember) of 42" at a very good price. but I have doubts if the quality of 1080i or 720p, can change in between brands.

Have you ever noticed any difference in quality for any of those settings for diferent brands??

for lcd's i would stick with jvc or sony, but samsung is not bad at all...

and as for plasma's panasonic is the best in my opinion and in a lot of reviews i saw, but like i said before samsung tv's are not bad at all...
