Hey all, I know Alan Wake is being developed by remedy for the 360 exclusively so my question is, will this game be released on the PS3 in 6 months or so like GTA was for the xbox? This game looks awesome so I sure hope so!

i thought i remembered seeing footage during ps3's big unveiling at E3 2005...i remember it looking very boring though, and it still does look very boring...so i'm kind of glad it's not coming to the ps3...
Why do people ask these questions regarding games that are being published by the company making the console the game is coming out on? In this case it's MS so no you will never see alan wake on any other console other than the 360.

I know that mate i was just using it as an example of exclusivity for consoles.
Why do people ask these questions regarding games that are being published by the company making the console the game is coming out on? In this case it's MS so no you will never see alan wake on any other console other than the 360. onemic

I asked because it was originally coming to the PS3.I admit now it may seem like a silly question but I just wanted to make sure. Thats why I decided to ask people who were a little more clued up to the situation of the game then me.

The publisher doesn't count......publishing contracts end.....usualy from 6 to 12 months.....since GearsOW probably will be PS3 next year it's highly probable that Alan Wake will be PS3....exclusives are'nt worth it anymore since the post vrsions are updated with all the bugs fixed...the more games xbox will have before ps3...the better....

Gears of War will never show up on PS3. That game is made by Epic games for Microsoft Game Studioes (publisher). Which means Microsoft is funding everything for the development of that game. If you were Epic games would you bring a franchise which Microsoft owns and put it on PS3? I dont think so. It would hurt business really bad.

Saints and oblivion were never exclusives. Only games with the official exclusive tag on the games themselves fit that. Lost planet does, gears does.
