Wish I had someone to play this with me when it comes out. If you'll buy it, add me, my PSN is Murice- :)

Im getting it....I have seen enough. As long as the online works well. Count me in. I have been looking at this game for a long time. Reminds me of Borderlands but yes very different.
Graphics reminds me of Killzone 2, but with its own visual art style. More than likely, I'll buy it if it has a great single player campaign. I know it will have multiplayer, but I also want a worthwhile SP experience. Elann2008Me too. I have a feeling the single player will be lackluster in this game, however, I'm mostly getting it for the online. I already buy too many shooters for the SP, now I want a complete, awesome MP experience.

And normally, you would never catch me playing FPS games competitively. I'm loving BFBC2. Anyways, I have a feeling it will be stronger on the multiplayer front as well. If you have some free time, on the Xbox 360 dashboard, there's a section with Brink interview with one of the developers or producers (forgot which). He said that they realize FPS games nowadays really lack in the story department and campaign. They want to make sure the single player campaign will be worthwhile, and not one of those "I wouldn't miss it" type of scenario. I hope his words hold some truth to it.

The last Dev Diary also says that. The writer (Ed Stern) really emphasizes the story and how strong it will be like "It'll give you interesting things to think about" and "It'll be a great story". Which is good, considering most of the time the developers say the story will be good, it is. Games with a bad story never get the story mentioned in any video or developer diary.

Sorry for going off topic, but will you be purchasing Killzone 3 by any chance Guar.

KZ3 definitely looks like orgasm in a box, but so does CoD Black Ops (yeah, i know you hate it, but i love it lol), Brink, Resistance 3 and Mass Effect 2... I don't know... I'll probably wind up getting it after it gets 9.5's and up.

Words have never been spoken so beautifully. I know it's a rough decision for you, and I do not care if you want BO. You have alot of games and K3 is only 3 months aways from BO. Resistance 3 I might get, I hated the second, but hearing they are going back to what made the first great, really gets me hard.
Imo do not drop BO, I hate it sure, but if you are into cod you will love it. I would drop out of those Brink. I really have a bad feeling for that game, or at least wait for some criticism from friends first.
Also I want to add you on PSN, is you're id Guaracy- as well?

It's Murice- :) However, I cannot drop Brink, at least not until one of my friends gets it. Or maybe a demo. The gameplay looks spot-on, exactly the type of gameplay I like from shooters (lots of aiming down sights for shooting, instead of shooting from the hip like Halo or BioShock), and the other features I've always loved. Weapon and character creation, Parkour and skill trees. Also, I liked R2, but in a different way than I liked R1. They turned it into a completely different kind of shooter, with a much more tactical and modern shooter-ish approach, whereas the first one was just plain fun, shooting and blowing stuff up. I have some good memories from that game's co-op campaign. So excited they're bringing it back :D I hope it has online co-op too, though. What I probably will drop is Mass Effect 2 though. I don't really like games that blend genres, especially RPGs and shooters, like Borderlands did. That game was so boring IMO, played it for about 3 hours on the PC and haven't touched it since... I'll most likely get KZ3. Just like I told myself I wasn't going to get KZ2 and wound up getting the Greatest Hits edition :/I like the fact that in the single-player, you can fight on either side and both (supposedly) have a fully developed story. So it's not like one side is good and the other is bad, it's all a big gray area. On the other hand, the multiplayer is team based, which means your enjoyment or frustration is totally dependent on other people. And the characters - you can customize them to look any way you want, so long as they look like a cartoon monkey.
Eh...maybe a bargain bin purchase some day. Maybe not.

Fun fact: I have those accounts because my name is Andre Guaracy Muricy (I'm brazilian, forgive the weird name) :)

I'm unsure, it looks promising and all that, but I'd have to wait for reviews, but even then, I've made up my mind that its a rental for me :)
