Getting the 40 gb version sometime this week. I'll get 2 games with it. Probably Uncharted and Killzone 2. Do both of these games live up to the hype?

Uncharted is pretty much playing the first Indiana Jones movie. It is an amazing summer blockbuster experience with natural dialogue/voice acting that really gets you into the game. Probably my fav game this generation (tied with Oblivion). Killzone 2 is probably the best exclusive FPS on the console right now. It has a difficult singleplayer but the story really is a bore (atleast in my opinion) and didnt keep me playing. The AI is fantastic though and should be a challenege. The multiplayer is classbased and pretty awesome but can get hectic if you play with a team of 32 players. It really shines with teams of around 16 going against eachother and the controls have been tweaked quite a bit since it was first released. It is really fun and you probably will enjoy it if you play the multiplayer. ^.^ hope you enjoy your PS3 and nice purchases (i hope you get Valkyria Chronicles and Infamous soon since they are quite amazing too)Getting the 40 gb version sometime this week. You'lll find out this week. :) I personally preferred Uncharted over Killzone 2 and cant wait for Uncharted 2... But both are great games.-Hoax-I know Uncharted 2 looks great! Is the first one anywhere near as impressive as the trailers? GOW 3 looks pretty damn tight too!

Uncharted is quite the experience, great story, characters and solid gameplay and uncharted 2 looks to be taking that to the next level.
Killzone 2 is worth getting, you will find the controls awkward but you get used to them quickly, but, it does make the game difficult to go back to if you switch to another game for a while.
You should also check out infamous - suprisingly good story and really, really fun.
I prefer Killzone 2 to Uncharted any day, but I own both and love both. Uncharted is best for its story and colors, but the gameplay is very fun too. Killzone 2, I actually really enjoyed every facet of this game, and I thought the story was more than acceptable to keep me playing, and I especially liked the end, a lot for some reason, actually. The AI is fantastic, and the multiplayer, well, I have been playing it since February, and still love it completely. 9.5/10, for me. Uncharted I would give an 8/10 probably.
