Will current PSPs be able to use the online game store for the PSP Go?

I don't have a PSP right now, and I'm not talking about the Go, I'm talking about the 3000 I'm thinking of getting. I used to have a PSP and always had a love/hate relationship with the UMDs. As I carried around my case of PSP games, I lamented not being able to simply save them on a memory card so I could switch through games on the device itself through the home screen. At the same time, it's nice to have a hard copy since my memory card prolly wouldn't be big enough for all the games I'd get for it.

Because of the used games market, I really think not having a UMD slot is a big drawback, but missing out on downloadable games is too. If I get the PSP 3000 will I have the best of both worlds?

Well I have a PSP and I'm able to access Media Go on my computer.. so yeah, what will be available for download for the Media Go, like others have said, will be available for older models.

Wow. Thanks guys I must be the only person who didn't know. I really think I will get the 3000 for the cheap UMDs and price. And bigger screen!
