Dragon Age: Origins is one of my most anticipatd games of the year but I fear that the game just won't work on consoles due to the control scheme. I really don't have a PC capable of playing Dragon Age: Origins so getting it for the PS3 or Xbox 360 might be my only option. Does anyone think the control scheme will not work for consoles? Is there any videos of Dragon Age working on consoles?

Well, as I can't predict the future I couldn't say for certain, but I doubt it could have such a complex control scheme that they couldn't work it out. They also aren't the type of studio that would release something inherently flawed like that just for the hell of it. Not in my opinion anyways. Have faith.

For games like theses, the developer should add mouse and keyboard support. No matter how much they optimize the controls for console, giving the consumer more options is never a bad thing.

It looks like Baldurs Gate so I don't see why it wouldn't work on a console. Mostactions would probably be faster on the PC but that doesn't really matter since you can just pause the game while doing your moves. The only negative I see is that we won't get as much downloadable content and it will likely cost money when we do.
