Will Far cry 2 have stupid monsters?

The first game was one of the best and most immersive games I have played, right up to the point where monsters where introduced. Then it became one of the stupidest. There was absolute no reason for this game to take that route. Monsters where no where near as engaging or fun to play against as the humans. I really hope that they exclude all that scifi balony out of this new one.

Does anyone know if the developers confirmed that there wont be any monsters?

so basiclly if you know how and where you can just go there when you start the game and kill him without any side missions. this is what i understood from some interviews. I guess it wont be so easy.hd18

I doubt you can just show up at his place and kill him as soon as the game boots, it'll have some senario, but no monsters or mutants, the devs said they may add in 'predatory animals' after its launch, but other then that just guys to shoot at.

No stupid monsters in far cry 2. The basic plot is you hunt this guy called the jackel and when you find and kill him its game over, so basiclly if you know how and where you can just go there when you start the game and kill him without any side missions. this is what i understood from some interviews. They said no but you never know. The african animals might turn into zombie animals at the end. Wiiingssbb
