I got a psp go a while back and I decided recently to trade it in at gamestop for a 3000, anyone know if they'll give me any cash back since its a more expensive system?

I wouldn't think so...The PSP Go I heard...now this could just be a rumor I've never had to trade in a PSP Go....but I heard the value for a psp go is only like $50... >.< but like I said, I just heard it and it might have been cash value too so...
your better off selling it on ebay what you would have liked to get from gamespot as a trade in value. so if you wanted to get like 175 for a trade in value put it on ebay for 175. i bet its cheaper then any go listed. your not trying to get max dollar this way, just doing the best you can and have it sell quick
gamestop will just rip you off

^ This.
I would sell it through ebay or craigslist.
I've made a few friends at my local GS here in Wisconsin, and they are ALL laughs when discussing the Go and it's trade value. They have three or four in their case, and they can't say enough about it once they get rolling... Granted, they make a lot of their business off used game sales and software trades so a piece of DL-only hardware isn't their friend in the most strict sense, but when they speak as gamers, they just don't see the magic and neither do I. The guys and girl at my local store all agree off the record, that the system is not something which you should bring to them, but more try to sell it off on Craig's or eBay if you want anything remotely CLOSE to the $250us you put into it (not to mention all of the software you will now lose unless you get a big memory card for your UMD-based PSP purchase in the future).
Don't take it to a brick'n'mortar... sell it on the Net. IF you can. 3000s are going for around $130us at my local and used Go are sitting collecting dust.
