I'm curious about this too...I really hope it does support online voice chat. I think it will though, because HOME is trying it's best to clone Xbox Live features, which is fine by me...and in doing so, it SHOULD support voice chat.

Yeah americahellyeah. Your right! The feature that you refer to is called proximity based audio. It's a pretty neat addition to Home.

From What I understand HOME will support text and voice communications. Also the PSeye very possibly could be used in HOME.

That IS really cool... I haven't been paying that much attention to Home because I haven't wanted to get as hyped up as everybody else apparently is, but that's kindof a cool feature. If it's too loud where you are, you just walk over to a more secluded area like in real life. I can see this setup getting abused, though... I'm just envisioning some really obnoxious people talking over EVERYBODY and it being just chaos in the general meeting area. Hopefully they'll have an option to pick who you speak to. But the only screenshots I saw were of typed text. That would be pretty irritating. I dunno... I'm curious to see how far they go with this Home thing.

Yes there will be, if you watched the presentation on the Playstation Store you will be able to join small groups of people and will be able to talk amongst them.
