Will Hercules be in God of War 3?

If there both the son of Zeus so Hercules should be in GoW3, Kratos and Hercules would make a great fight cuz Hercules is super strong so is Kratos. Also they r brothers so it would fit in the stroyline but wat do u think about this

I can't actually believe he hasn't appeard in the series yet and I definatley think he will now. Hopefully they will make a darker more vicious version of the mythological character.

If he is in the game I would imagine he will be a major character in the storyline and will more then likely be one of the tougher boss battles.

Wasn't Hercules in the final cutscene of God of War 2 with all the Gods paying attention to Zeus? If so, then he will DEFINETLY be in the game as the director (forgot his name) said that all the gods comprising the last cutscene of GoW2 will appear in God of War 3.

Don't recall seeing hercules, he isn't actually a God either.

Hercules was an unlockable costume in GoW II, but I don't think we've ever seen him in the games besides that.

i want to know if kratos's brother is in the game, in the unlockable trailers they show kratos and his brother being separated and how kratos's brother has this grudge and vengeance in him that kratos left him, they spoke about him being a boss in god of war 3 but it was just rumors and i hope he is one of the boss u have to fight or meet or somethin lol, i want to know more, and i dont think hercules will be a charcter to fight in god of war 3, maybe an unlockable like god of war 2 but fightin him, dont think so. not that it wont fit or anythin, i mean shoot id love to see that, but i dont think the devs would do that. But id love to fight kratos's brother. does anyone know anythin more or know wat im talkin about at least? JoKeR_421

I think you are mistaken. From what I remember, the only boss fights in GoW1 were the Hydra, the Minotaur, and Ares. You may be thinking of that guy from GoW2 that had the invisibility helmet and hurled small rocks at you. I forget what his name was, but it wasn't Hercules.

EDIT: Perseus was the guy's name, but Hercules was an unlockable character if you completed the game on Titan Mode

He looks pretty 'God of War...y'.

Some of you need a re-education in the actual study of mythology - the games are a spin off ... Kratos means "Strength" ... most commonly spelled Cratos - The game version made him part god, like Heracles as a son of zeus - and Yes, Heracles did kill his family and to be accepted as a god, had to pass many tasks - More likely a segway to a different set of games if God of War 3 sells well ( AS IT SHOULD! ) - in the Classical world, Helios is the sun god, then later named Apollo by the greeks and named the same when the romans tookover- Have fun with the new game and get the PS3 COLLECTION coming out next week!
