Here are my thoughts and seeing that myspace is a wide based community but what it fails at is negativity with people exploiting themselves to meet other people and what it creates is depression, couple break up, stressed, and much more.In most cases myspace are effecting people more negative then positive. If home replicates this do you people really feel it will have a good effect on people? please share your thoughts..

Hmmm well this is a tough one and it could go either way. Gaming in general could be considered to be 'unhealthy' so it depends on what your definition of it is. However, there are people who definitly take things further then it was originally intended and thats when we will see problems. I'm sure it will happen when it provides an escape for people, no doubt. We will just have to wait and see how big will the community get and how will we deal with these problems once the time comes.

Myspace is mainstream and Home is not therefore the only people who will have Home in the next 2 years will be 99% males who just want to play games.

well mike, its stupid to think that only Males have a PS3. Home is going to be a free service, and there are a number of families out there that yes the PS3 primarly as a Blu-Ray player. When this added free social feature is introduced, its going to garner attention from all sorts of people

I dont think myspace is a good equivalent to what home is trying to be as a social hub.

I'd recommend you go look at IMVU for a little and while im not saying that is what home is going to be like...it is a little closer

and for as long as Ive used it it has been cool and fun and interesting.

Home is really a great idea but I feel what will ruin this concept is negativity. From experience from services like xbox live there's a huge majority of negative players and maybe if some how Sony can divide servers up for the type of person you are either hardcore or casual I dont see it as being healthy.I really hope Sony can make this service a bit of strict and I guess we can only see what will happen when it releases.

I meant 99% are males that will actually use Home consistently and not just try it out a couple times. And there are many barriers for entry 1. Home is for the Hardcore early on for the next year since it's a niche community 2. $600 price tag 3. most games are targeted for the hardcore 4. online connection and a reason to want to go online. You get the point. I was exaggerating maybe a little bit by saying 99%, but Myspace is probably 52% girls and 48% guys. Home will never be that mainstream not even close.

Home will be great for clans to meet up and socialize, or meeting a bored gamer that wants to have fun. It seems healthy and won't be addicting, it'll be like a great add on for PS3 just say that.

It's not an actual game so we won't be seeing any World of warcraft addicts.
