It's much better than Prototype and/or games like Crackdown so I would say yes, you will get plenty of time out of it. Have you played Red Faction: Guerilla? It's a much better game and you should be able to get between 20-30 hours on it.

This, I liked Infamous and all, but it only got me around 8-10 hours of gameplay, and I had to force myself to play it at some points. Red Faction is a much better game if you ask me, blowing up building never gets old :P
ive had this game for months now and havent even opened it. maybe ill finally give it a try. ive been playing prototype but its pretty tedious. feels like gta without the need of a car lol. everyone on this site seems to like infamous though.
yes. It has good and bad stories that are very different. You can collect the scattered 300 shards around the city. Lots of side missions for both evil and good.
It kept me occupied for over 20 hours. Beat it twice, while doing everything necessary to get platinum in those 2 playthroughs. At $35, inFamous is well worth it.
