That the ps3 will one day reach the graphics shown in that famouse, tech demos of games like Motorstorm and killzone? i have a real feel they could pull it off ya know, i know some people said its an artists interpritation, and if this is true, your not gonna interpritate it at its weekest point, the start of the consoles life are you?

Any thoughts?

I have a strong belief that the PS3 (and, so not to offend people, even that other console) could easily render the graphics shown in the Killzone trailer.

We've still only seen first-gen games for PS3, none of which were using the EDGE toolset which Killzone PS3 is putting to good use. With 5-6 years left in the system's lifespan, and games like Lair and UT3 already being incredibly realistic looking, the Killzone trailer doesn't seem too far off.

You may think of me as arrogant, but when the Sony at e3 05 said that the trailor was running in realtime on the ps3 I think they were serious. comptonst

Thats kinda been prooved false cutosy of a low to no budget documentory on youtube interviewing the people who made the CGI for Killzone, and then footage of it being CGI on a computer.

well, considering how much the ps2 games evolved over the years, im really curious how its gonna be for the ps3 :Pberobnx

I agree with this 100% even take something like GTA 3 and compare it with GTA SA, poles apart. Not only graphically, but sound, gameplay everything.

Hopefully MGS 4 will have some ground breaking visual. The last two MGS games on th eps2 has been amazing in terms of the visual.
