Possibly. It will certainly be Epic. Sony needs it to A) stay exclusive and B) come out before the holiday season. But IMO it and FF will come out in 08.  

no, why is it when every game that is supposed to be good is coming out someone always says somethin about it being the "halo killer". nothing is going to kill halo, it has too big of a fan base, just like nothing will kill mgs or any other big game. who cares anyways, do u think that if killzone 2 is better than halo 3 that it will actually affect how halo 3 is sold? i dont think so. the majority of xbox 360 owners will still buy halo 3 and wont care about killzone 2.

i doubt it very highly.  if it was worth showing off they would have been doing it and driving sales.  just like crysis previews are driving dx10 video card sales

man crysis is probably the best looking game ive seen, maybe ever, i mean graphics wise. the videos r insane looking

i think it'll give halo a run for its money IF it can come close to the CGI trailer.

Who really cares? both of them are good games and should be enjoyed either way

you gotta admit that it would make perfect business sense.  the onlt thing you do by not showing it is make people lose interest and if they wait too long its not gonna get the kinda hype it (may) deserve

I definitely agree with you.  It does make perfect sense.  But history has proven Sony doesn't build what's considered to be even a standard amount of hype.  I think there was even an interview with a Sony exec that says that's pretty much the way they do things.

Well if the gameplay looks like as they claim and present it does, then yah It will be better than Halo3 (looks OMFG so similar to H2, and even though we've seen gameplay from it, it still doesnt look anything near what Killzone "as they claim" it does.)

No disrespect to Halo because I love the game, even if Killzone is a Halo killer, i doubt it will sell better that Halo because well.....its like trying to make a orginal game(that when its released is a good game in terms of quality), that goes up against a movie franchised game(which we can say are mostly awful) and still the movie licienced game sells alot better.

how can u say that nothing is worth getting this year for xbox 360. thats like the biggest fanboy comment ever. i hate fanboys that r so in love with one system and just constantly bash the other. and i hate to say it, but from what ive seen, the playstation fanboys r bigger babies than the others. im not saying that there arent MS fanboys but sony ones r terrible. its like if somethin isnt connected to the ps3 then it sucks. i mean when they found out that DMC 4 was gonna be on 360 too they made a petition against the game, i mean c'mon, and alot of them said they werent even gonna get the game now. if thats not pathetic then idk what is. if u prefer one system over the other then thats fine, but u dont have to go and bash everything about the other system. and the people that say halo sucks, i can understand that u might not prefer the game, but i dont see how u can say that it sucks, its still a very well made videogame, and better than many others. i dont like final fantasy games, but im not gonna say they suck. and im not just directing this to whoever i quoted, im talking to all the fanboys that r like this.

I just rented the original Killzone yesterday and it's way better than the original Halo so far.  Halo had fun multiplayer but Killzone's campaign is stomping Halo's.  I have to play Killzone's multiplayer for a better comparison.  The weapon animations in Killzone are phenominal.  I like how the camera is active when navigating the environment.  It reacts as if it is attached to your neck.  I also love how when you cook a grenade you see the little timer on the grenade itself, and when you throw it the camera sways just as if you were shifting balance in your shoulders to help heave it.emitsu97
