I sure hope so, when they released "Jak II" for the PS2 i knew they where headed in the right direction for the series. "Jak III" was a great ending for it aswell. Never played the racing one but i hope they revive the character Jak in a different series of some sort. I don't mind daxter being their or not, he'z good comic relief though.
i sorta want to see a uncharted sequel first then a new jak game. i hope a new naughty dog game comes out this yer regardless of what game it is. That would be awsome!

I would be scared if that happened. The two to me just don't seem fuseable. I actually almost hate the Ratchet series due to its repetitive concepts. They need to do something different to Ratchet like make him older or something...a new look. And if the two merged storywise it better be a pretty ballin' (did I say that right?) story.

Yeah the the whole Jak Keira thing upsetted A LOT of people.
Because what you said is right. It seemed like the were really tight after Jak II and then its like all of sudden through no line of logic Jak is fratinizing with Ashelin. Keira was kicked to the curb after she really was an awesome character in Jak II.
What Hurt's the most for me was that it felt as if naughty dog decided to leave Jak 2'z romance out of the picture for Jak 3, their was even a scene in haven city in Jak 3 where keira and jak we standing face to face, not a word passed between them.
Yeah that scene could of been handled better too. I wasn't even really satisfied with Jak X. Jak II for me is my all-time favorite game. It had the most depth in the story, dialougue, and character department out of all the jak games.

I agree, as soon as Jak said "I'm gonna kill Baron Praxis!" I knew that game was golden. For me Jak 2 turned many heads and created a huge fan base that ratchet and noob still cant touch, although i feel naughty dog is alittle slow with the game development and uncharted ended alittle medicore imo.
I wonder how the new Jak game will look. Will Naughty Dog make it realistic like Uncharted, or cartoon-ish like Ratchet and Clank?

Jak and daxter aren't that cartoon-ish. They have a certain feel of reality to it. If you compare the environments to tthe ones in ratchet, you will find Jak's pretty possible to exist.
I know Jak isn't similar to Ratchet in that aspect, but I used it as an example since Naughty Dog and Insomniac are so close. I just want to know if it will be completely realistic, or whether it will follow it's PS2 predecessors. Hopefully we can find out at E3.
Also, when is Naughty Dog going to update their site?! They have hardly changed it since Jak X.

i agree, the Jak series should not be ruined, and a 3rd rate developer wouldn't be able to buy it now that Naughty Dog is one of the top companies. ND should go back to Crash in the future cuz it was a very good series. and yeah, i hope they make another jak game
