Because I want it so badly the demo that I got from the PS Store isn't long enough. Does anybody know if Resistance will go on sale anytime soon?_MysTesO_
I would say prolly around the holiday season when a lot of the other great titles are out. Right now, it's still the top seller on ps3 and has sold somewhere around 2 million copies i believe, so really there's not too much motivation to lower the price right now.
Some places have it discounted, I saw it on sale at Sears a few weeks ago for $44.99, but it's back to regular price now. I think it's $54.99 used, wouldn't be much point to doing a mass price drop on the systems best selling game, since they know people are still willing to pay $60 for it.
I'm waiting for Resistance and Fight Night to have price cuts before I pick them up... I'd think that games like Fight Night and Marvel Ultimate Alliance would see cuts before Resistance, though. As everyone has already said, Resistance is a top seller and, in some cases, a system mover... It'll probably remain $60 until at least the holiday season.
Indeed. If you like the developer/brand, then actually support them. They're not going to survive if everyone just waits on price-cuts all the time.
I'l admit that I felt that way about WarHawk though. I wasn't gonna buy it unless it was $30 bucks, but since they're bundling it with a headset, I'll pay the $60.
Support them and buy the game as it is. Insominiac is a third party developer and they dont need to stay exclusive to the ps3 lets not give them a reason to go away. I think their probably one of the most talented developers for the PS3 so far you wouldn't really want to lose them would you?

Totally agree. The thought of a insomniac game on a non ps system is a troubling troubling, not likely though. I love how they are trying to help other developer with the ps3 since they already (almost) have two titles out on the ps3 in less than a year (barely).
