i say ban turbo controllers, apperently there is already a chip you can install into your ps3 to make it turbo. i dont think you should have turbo controllers for the main fact that on COD4 i dont want to see a G3 or an M14 shot like a P90bigburd
point taken. i but in Destroy All Humans you need some serious button mushing skills to do anything other than die horribly, so turbo is a must. now, given what you've just said about the unfair advantage given to multiplayers with turbo, how about we make banning turbo an option (decided by teh host) on multiplayer matches of that nature. what do you say to that?
i say no deal, no offense man but if you need a turbo controller for destroy all humans maybe you should rethink your gaming choices and maybe pick up that barbie horse game, seems like more your speedbigburdlittle harsh don't you think. he likes turbo you don't so because of this he needs to play barbie lol why do you even now about that game.

it's not that i need a turbo, i just prefer it, rather vehemently. i feel it frees the fingers to do more complicated game maneuvers, that would otherwise be impossible. also i had been playing DAH2 with turbo for so long, i had become irreparably rusty with my button mashing, which hadn't been good to start off with. when i played devoid of turbo, i reached the 5 clone mark in as many minutes, making me realize that i needed turbo. i feel i could get better with practise, but I'm not willing to put in the hours with a game i have become bored with. i also feel that your barbie comment was completely out of hand. you don't go around dissing people with differing opinions, because if you do, you're nothing but a less severe form of Nazi. so, i will respond with a comment of equal complexity and taste. **** you.

Turbo controllers ruin online sports games. It's pretty pointless playing someone who can turbo a speed burst in football or power a golf swing. It makes the game completely unbalanced. I really don't like the point where I can get a turbo controller to compete...strayzilla
how can you seriously even compare me to a Nazi? Your comparing me to an order of facsist government that murdered 6 million people? Im not dissing your opinion, i'm dissing the fact that your basically cheating, and cannot do what most gamers strive to do, and that is to put hours of work into something you enjoy and get the satisfaction of completing something. But you probably know nothing about that.bigburd
if you'll notice, i said a less severe form of Nazi. now, i suppose i could have been a bit more open about exactly how less severe you actually were(quite a bit), and maybe a little more discriminate in the comparison, as well. in any case, about your cheating comment. cheats were designed to enhance game experience when used properly, which is the only way i use them. when a game becomes nothing more than a frustration, the cheat is meant to be a shot of adrenaline to the heart of the dying game experience, thereby revivng the users feelings for the game and lengthening play time beyond that one maddening level. myself, i continue to try, without cheats, until i either reach the 20th attempt, or am seriously considering punching the next human being i see. at that point cheats are perfectly acceptable, even if only to prevent being charged with assault by the girl scout selling cookies. now i think we should just agree to disagree, because this arguement is going to go nowhere, precisely because both of us have a good point. agreed?

I see where you are coming from regarding being stuck at a game. Keep trying. I can't remember a game that I couldn't advance after 20 or so attempts but having a turbro (cheating controller) just isn't the answer, in my opinion. I have a hard time playing through Sigma as that is one tough game. As difficult as that game is, I won't resort to cheats such as infinite health, invincibility, or whatever cheats that might be available, to pass a level. I just keep trying. I used to say that whenever you finish a game at least once, then it would be no big deal to use cheats, easter eggs, etc. [QUOTE="CureTheWorld666"][QUOTE="bigburd"]how can you seriously even compare me to a Nazi? wow. quoting spree. anyway, i'm the same way, after youve beaten it once, then it's fine to cheat, but if there's absolutely no way you will ever beat it if you don't cheat, i think that's extenuating circumstances, don't you? also, while i still had access to a turbo controller, i did not have access to multiplayer matches, and other cheats are prohibited in multiplayer, so i have never been a cheater when playing against actual people. mostly because i haven't been playing against people. but i just got a router, so i soon will be. i g2g now, but i'll be back sometime tomorrow and we can continue then. no hard feelings, eh, bigburd? peace out, hope to see you later.
basically its a controller that has a setting that when a button is pushed the button keeps reacting, faster than a human finger could ever react. so like in shooter games, if you have a single shot assualt rifle, now you have a automatic assualt rifle that deals more damage because its only supposed to be single shot.bigburd
