that damn thing doesnt play PSP games if it do it will make psp useless why would they buy an 250 hand held when they can have ps2 psp ps1 a blu ray player and PS3 player damn where youve been oh let me guess on the stupid tree.and dont say UMD movie they have not been an hit last time i checked if ps3 played psp games my psp collecting dust

lol. Well to end this sillyness and put this topic to bed here is all the formats the ps3 will play:

Disc Media:
CD: Playstation Cd-Rom, Playstation 2 Cd-Rom, Cd-Da, Cd-Da (Rom), Cd-R, Cd-Rw, SACD, SACD Hybrid (Cd layer), SACD HD, DualDisc, DualDisc (audio side), DualDisc (Dvd Side)

Dvd: Playstation 2 Dvd-Rom, Playstation 3 Dvd-Rom, Dvd-Video, Dvd-Rom, Dvd-R, Dvd-RW, Dvd+R, Dvd+Rw

Blu-Ray Disc: Playstation 3 BD-Rom, BD-Video, BD-Rom, BD-R, BD-RE

It doesn't play PSP UMD's. However, you can connect the PSP and PS3 via Wi-fi.

okay, for the LAST time...I don't know how many people have said this (countless) but the PS3 will NOT play PSP games or UMD's!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
