With broken steel a little under 2 weeks away, I once again here from my xbox friend "WOOOO FALLOUT DLC WOOO"

This time however, it is the last *paid* for DLC by microsoft. And I can't help but wonder, what does that mean for the PS3?

In my personal opinion, I think us PS3 owners will get gipped of DLC AGAIN.

Broken Steel is raising the level cap to 30, and the game isn't finishing when you complete the main quest this time. Now how can they add more content for all three platforms when they are shorting us the most important one? So kudos microsoft, you ruined possibly my favorite game this gen all because you don't know how to share.

They might release the same DLC and extras in the Fallout 3 GOTY edition like they did with oblivion thats if there is going to be one.

Sorry your missing out, dude. I own a PS3 and a 360 and I can understand as a Fallout 3 fan your frustration. I do disagree with blaming the company that saw the possibility of giving it's fans an exclusive. IP or DLC, this is business. As an xbox owner it was always wait 1 year for GTA. Was that Sony's fault? I think in time there is a chance of a GOTY edition of Fallout 3 for the PS3. I hope for the sake of the fans this comes true.

Ya know, if they would have NOT released fallout 3 for the PS3, and then a year later said "here is a GOTY edition", I wouldn't be as upset. But the fact they expect me to go spend yet another 60 dollars for a GOTY edition when they could have easily made DLC for all platforms. I don't blame betheseda, I just think it is bad business. How can you release something on all platforms, but when it comes to DLC say "nope exclusive sorry". If things are going to be multiplat, every facet of it should be multiplat

Not if MS keeps opening up their wallet and giving developers large sums of money.

Exactly. This is why some company that have M$ buy the Dlc and make them exclusives, lose money and customers. And they only make the most money on the 360 because there are a lot of sites out there were you can get the add-on for free(Pc only..)

I doubt they'll release the DLC for the PS3, but the least they could do is patch the game so you can play it after you beat it...

It's the reason I did not pick this game up, and I saw it for 30 bucks.

Its not ms's fault they got DLC only. I bet sony didn't think it was worth it. Meaning they didn't think the game would take off as well as it did. I mean, most of the fans of FO3 didn't even know about the game or played FO FO2 or FOT.

It really seems like Bethesda sold out. How could it be Sony's fault for it being not worth it? PC has it; so who paid Bethesda for PC to have it? Obviously that's not what happened. Microsoft paid Bethesda to NOT have it on PS3. They made the actual game available for PS3 did they not? Yeah Microsoft has money, but Bethesda didn't have a gun to their head. Ever wonder why there's no reason, at least officially from Bethesda? There's your answer. The problem is that people are too complacent. You feel disappointed that you're being left out because you have a PS3? Then do something about it. E-mail Bethesda and tell them you're pissed/sad/disappointed whatever. Enough people griped about the poor ending and they listened. Honestly, I'm not okay with being treated like a second-class console owner and if all the DLCs only go to everyone but PS3, maybe I'll never buy a Bethesda product again. Selling out is not cool with me.

That SOUNDS like a great idea, but it'll never work. Online petitions 9/10 fall on deaf ears. They are worthless and not worth the time(redundant much?) The only thing that'll rectify this is making the content available in the future(timed exclusive dlc as oppose to no dlc) and giving us everything at the same time as the MS consoles in the future.

Well, plenty of boycotts have worked. I'd hate to go to that extreme, but I'm a customer and it's my money. If enough people get pissed about being left out and actually act (and not just sign a petition) by not buying future products, they will notice.

It's not looking good right now, but I hope so. M$ can't pay them that much to equal every potential PS3 buyer. Personally, I would never do this. It's pretty simple really. PC and both consoles equals MORE MONEY and MORE FANS. What else could a company ever need? I don't really get this "better system" crap when you have to buy out everything in sight just to keep it up.

Ok this has been like the 5th thread in the past 2 days asking if there will be ps3 f3 dlc. The answer is NO.

But if it makes anybody feel any better there is a .01% chance that we will get it from a GOTY edition. Sorry :(

Agreed.... I shouldnt have to have a 360 to get all of the extras for a game thats on my system as well... Exclusivities really bug sometimes.

Exclusive games itself is fine by me. But when it's released on three systems and only two (very simular) systems are getting the additional content, that is BS.
