Will the PS4 be cheaper around the holidays?

I have a Killzone PS4 Launch Day on Amazon for $551.69. I preordered in June, but I realize now I won't have much time to play it now. It would be a waste of a purchase, but I only am still considering keeping it because of the risk that it might still be sold out during the holidays.

I don't know how the market is for these consoles, but if I cancel my preorder, do you think I'll be able to find one around the holidays for cheaper? Will there already be sales and deals for it a month after its release?

I thought the PS4 was $399.99 and the game was $59.99. Shouldn't you have purchased it for like $460 rather than $551.69.

PS+ is bundled with it as well.

Might be able to find one cheaper on Black Friday. If they have that where you live.

Definitely this. Not to sound blunt about it but don't put hopes into that even happening THIS holiday season, lol. You just better PRAY to get if you want it this holiday season, much less worrying about it being on 'sale'. New consoles that release right before holiday seasons rarely ever (basically NEVER) go on sale during that holiday season. *Maybe* it's possible to see the games for those said systems be on sale....and that's just as equally a *maybe*, but a much higher probability than seeing the actual accompanying new console having any special holiday sales.

just keep the preorder and ebay it for $650..... you get 100 bucks and you didnt have to do anything for it....
