So i played the first star ocean and it didn't really live up to my expectations, so will the second be better?

I heard from people who playhed it on playstation that the second game was more enjoyable? so are there more people out there who played both games on playstation and can say the same??

have played both and its not an amazing difference, but notable little diffs that a fan of the series could appreciate. If you didnt like the first, then i doubt this will appeal to you either

I enjoyed the first one, been a long time since second story that I played in the SO universe again, wish I could find my discs so I could finally finish SS, curse my dumb ass for unknowingly unlocking the super hard final boss which drove me to never finish it since I still didn't fully understand the game in some aspects and wasn't QUITE ready for the constant 1 shotting of my characters....Id kill for a sharper looking version on the psp though! :D
