me and my freind have beaten it 3 times and we just saw the ending on hard where he survives do you think there will be a second one?

Insomniac has already put a copyright on Resistance2: Rise of Man. The game is actually expected for Christmas 2008.

I was talking to my editor (Game rep italy)about this a few weeks ago and it does seem as if the 2nd installment will have a halo-ish twist in the story....

There are rumors that the story will bounce 10 years ahead in time in the 60s and will see Nathan Hale as head of the UnitedStates-European Forces. The begining of the story will consist in fighting of the Chimera from soviet russia....and bringing the war out into space.....with the only way left for mankind to destroy the Alien race on their ownplanet....

Personally i think it would be lame, cool, but lame........but then again things might actually get interesting.

REFOM was kinda rushed and you can tell by alot of things....yet, it turned out to be a GREAT GAME. I just hope the second will have more timededicated to it.....enough to make it a possible GOTY and...system seller

They don't say anything about that in the game......thing is, i don't think all their technology came from earth, it would'nt meet the historical scientific level we had in the 40-50s. They have a metabolism modifying body, a somewhat extrimely powerful energy resource, highly advanced weapons, weird-insect kinda look etc etc....

i think it was kinda obvious that theyare aliens.....

They need human bodies to survive on earth.....but on their planet....

The origin of the Chimera seem to spring from the real life Tunguska Incident(1908). In which meteors fell from space and hit a remote area in Siberia, creating a huge blast and destroying an entire forest. In the beginning of Resistance, a map showing how the Chimera spread through Europe seems to originate in that forest. They MAY be from space.
