I had HD Advance on my PS2. For those of you who don't know you put in a hard drive in the PS2 and installed the software and you were able to "back up"entire games to your hard drive. After that I all I had to do was rent a game at Hollywood Video or wait for my friends to buy it and borrow it from them. I've got 65 games "backed up" on my PS2's hardrive. Is there going to be HD Advance on the PS3 any time soon? $59.99 a game will get expensive real quick especially with the massive amount of titles being offered this fall.

I had a program like that on my PS2 also. I got fed up with it because of the limitations on what games it could have stored on the HDD. Some games didn't work and other would freeze during gameplay. Any problems so far with HD:A?

considering sony has pretty much locked down complete control of the primary(only if not split) partition for the internal drive, it would be hard for any third party app to allow copying of game data to the drive. it is a pretty technical nightmare and its truly too early to really tell. there may eventually be one, but it will most likely rely on external drives and it will most likly be poo poo'ed by sony as they kinda don't like that kinda thing. granted right now, all the prices seem kinda high, but developers have mouths to feed and all.

sorry but this is a moronic post, you are asking for assistence in essentially stealing... sorry but stop being cheap, i mean you shelled out god knows how much for the hardware support the devs by giving them your money so they can continue to make great games.

Yea man, BAD bad bad!

I am not giving any advice to someone that plans on getting games "borrowed" whilst the rest of us are getting shafted @ $60 a pop.

^^^^^^^^--Like he said, if you want to start seeing more PS3 games you must properly support the devs, or we are forever doomed to Ubi ports!

Good luck with that though.
