Will there ever be a sequel to *Black* ?

Black is one of if not *the* best fps game i've ever played, simply put it had EVERYTHING! stunning graphics, amazing sound effects, epic music, tons of guns, intriquing story, clever AI, the game was just LEGENDARY! and oddly enough it was last gen.. i have the ps2 version. anyone who remembers this game will probally agree how great it was, but my only gripe was that the ending left us to beleave there would definately be a sequel to follow and it never was to be... i've always wondered why they never followed up on this awesome game, givin how great it did you'd think it'd be a no brainer but they still haven't so much as discussed a possible sequel, why not? will there ever be a sequel to this game?

It isn't a direct sequel. As far as I know it hasn't got anything to do with Black aside from the team behind the PS2 game.

Black never really had much of a real storyline, thus an actual sequel would've had a plain out pathetic story perhaps. In terms of gameplay, it's been years, but I do remember it being quite enjoyable. I really should pick it up again.

Bodycount never really got any advertising, but Black was sold as the "80s/90s action movie FPS," and actually HAD advertising... and I'm not sure they wanted to do the same for BC (would've probably sold better though, the advertising for Black is exactly what made me buy it brand new being an old school action movie fan).

just got done watching a full playthrough of bodycount on utube and not one reference of black to be found, and omfg is that game a piece of @ss scrotem! graphics are some of the worst i've ever seen, i can honestly say the ps1 could handle that game.
