ok, i'm a huge fan of the legacy of kain series, and if you remember and/or like the series you'll know that for some reason its been discontinued. why??? to this day i still go back to my ps2 only to play bo2, sr2, and my personal favorite loc:defiance. in defiance (the last one ever made) the story was completely left hanging. my question is why was this amazing series discontinued? what made edios decide not to make another?
In all honesty you probably wont see another one. I think the best you could hope for is an HD remake which if sales show interest, they might make a new one. Never was a fan of the series myself but i had a buddy that love it. From what i can tell, the story seem pretty good. However if your looking for a sequel, i wouldnt recommend holding your breathe.
Now that Eidos is kinda back and running, rebooting all the classic titles I hope they do work on another Thier and Legacy of Kain. However, to be realistic I doubt they would.

 New Thief game Announced, this could mean there may be a return to LoK. The Former CEO of Eidos said in several interviews that he would Like to reboot LoK. I am very hopeful, and excited about the new Thief game.
I loved that series, but honestly, with Amy Hennig no longer at Crystal Dynamics I'm not sure I'd want to see them try to continue it.

I would have be happy with a HD collection or maybe even remaking the original Bloom Omen: Legacy of Kain game (the one were Kain first becomes a vampire from the ps1) Out of all the crap that gets pushed out for games, I don't see why this should get passed by. There hasn't been a superb gothic game that has been released during this generation of consoles. But as the one poster mentioned, Amy Hennig would be my first choice to have on board the legacy of kain game if there was to be one.
Thought Kain and Raziel were great characters and the stories were pretty cool. I liked the shifting between spirit and physical world for puzzles as well. I bought Soul Reaver 2 for my Vita and it plays on PS3 . Not as clean as it did on PS2 though.
