Will this Hard Drive Work? (200 GB)

I wanted to know if this harddrive would work on the PS3. It is 200 GB.

no. First, it's a 3.5" for a desktop PC. You need a 2.5" laptop/notebook drive. Second, it's an Ultra ATA drive. You need a Serial ATA (SATA) drive.

There maybe an issue with size as well, the PS3 maybe using FAT32 which has a limit of 137gigs. Now while there is aFAT32+ which fixes that issue I dont know if its in the PS3 so do some research first before putting in massive drives, tho if you have, tell us how big.

You'll find the size to get is 160gig when it comes to 2.5inch 5400rpm SATA drives that the PS3 uses. Anything lower in capacity is isn't worth the small price drop from the 160gig. They do make 200gigs, but only at 4200rpm, which would be slow.
