Will this hurt your ps3 in anyway

By leaving the power cord plugged in all time. My ps3 light is red but do I have to pull the plug out or can I just keep in. Sorry if I spelled anything wrong just woke up. Oh and I got the slim if you guys/girls want to know.

No it will not damage your ps3 and it is perfectly normal.

i only flick the back switch off when i have to disconnect the PS3 for moving, or during a severe thunderstorm.
