I have this exact PC and if I bought a PS3 and pluged it into my PC. Will it work? As you see, it has the composite slots. It also has the Component slots in the back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure those are for output, not input.

i tried it and my ps3 just started acting weird, wouldnt be the best of idea's

assuming that you want to play the games on your PC screen you do not have to connect it to your PC harddrive tower. U can directly connect it to the monitor. The ps3 will act as the computer and the moniter will act as the computer screen. However it depends what kind of moniter it is. for example does it have HDMI connectvity and how high is the resolution.
