Woah! Put down the guns guys, C'mon I hate Xbox as much as you do, but I will admit that my favorite feature is the thing that let's you play any song when your playing a game. That is freakin awesome. Are we getting that in a software update eventually? And any word on when the Home Beta is coming out?
Well, with the 2.0 update is rumored to come accessible XMB in game, which would in theory allow you to play whatever music you like while playing a game.
Update 2.0 supposedly, I guess it would be pretty cool, but it would mess up a sentimental moment in a game if you're blaring Megadeath..The_Gunslinger_

although it is a feature you're glad is there for those who really enjoy it, but I think most would forget about it for the majority of the time. Unless starting and stopping the music is made easy and functional while playing. It'd be great to miss voice chat because of background music. Or Dialogue from a single player campaign on a first play through.Â
Bottom line it's a fun feature and I'd love to have the option myself but ultimatly not the must useful.

I never used that feature on my Xbox. I think the feature we need is a better startup. The wavey ribbon-like line thing just doesn't do it for me after seeing Xbox 360's.

yea 2.0..is when they say it will happen..and the home beta is out if u signed up for it...it will b out as a "demo" in july officially..and publically released in october...ps3 rules

lol i agree, some games are just meant to be played w/ the game music and something like a racing game or something might be fine w/ other music IMOÂ
