Will you be buying Assassins creed?

Assassins creed- looks like an awesome game...But will you be buying it?

Through the billions of videos and reviews ive seen it looks awesome. The ability to climb practically anywhere, good story line, amazing graphics, and of course assassinating... The two things that worry me are the targeting and fighting style. The targeting looks pretty sketchy, seeing as their outline turns white when targeted, and switches easily as you move, another thing that worries me is the fighting style....It seems like most of the gameplay videos show him side-stepping attacks and just kicking his opponents over...seems effective but BORING...anyways post any thoughts or ideas about assassins creed!

I dont know...right now I have my eyes set out on COD4.

Assassins creed looks like a good game and all. It has everything that you mentioned tc, but its something thatI havent really played before. I might have to wait for reviews and stuff before I get it or rent it.

Im a bit iffy about the game but it looks promising. COD4 right now though AC down the road maybe

It's not my top priority.

Haze first.

Then Kane and Lynch.

Then Uncharted.

After that, I might get Assassin's.

I cant really afford it, I bought 3 games in september and 2 aready this month, November has COD4 and Mass Effect, I'll give Assassins Creed a rent.Jamie_1987

Assassins Creed isnt a game you would want to rent unless you want to play nonstop over the weekend.

I will probably be buying it for the 360, cause I don't trust Ubisoft with their crappy ports!Quadrifoglio

I don't think its a port, it was being developed for PS3 first, I think all versions are being developed seperately.

Well so far I can get 3 games this November.

I will definitely be getting Call of Duty 4 and Need for Speed Pro Street. As far as the third, well that's up in the air between HAZE, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, and buying something besides a game with that money. lol

I don't think its a port, it was being developed for PS3 first, I think all versions are being developed seperately.

Last i heard, Ubisoft was having trouble with getting the game onto the DVD9 may hurt the Xbox360 version a bit, but prolly not much since they said the games would be identical.

Ill buy it if i have money left over from other games :D

I wonder how that will affect multiplatform games in the future... When developing for both the PS3 and 360, will developers allow for better textures and larger file sizes on the PS3 version? It seems that we'd eventually start seeing evidence of file/texture crunching on 360 versions of mutliplatform games over the next few years if this is the case...

I'll be getting this one for sure!

I never base my decisions on reviews. If a game catches my eye I play it and decide for myself if I like it or not. Assassin Creed looks promising to me and I will see how I like it when it comes out.

PS. There are people out there who love Lair regardless of the score.

Personally I find Lair as a wasted opprotunity for the potential of the Six-axis
