Outraged? No.
Disappointed? Very.
This game has been in development far too long to accept poor reviews. I do not want any further delays, but if they need extra time to get it near perfect...then delay it.
But from the looks of it, the game will probably receive very good reviews.
The thing I worry about (for no good reason) is if it does receive poor scores or even scores lower than the other system's top-teir racer, our other less friendly forum will blow up and many GT5 fans will hang their head very low for the hype that was not met.
Honestly, I really think Sony and PD need this game to succeed.
i won't be upset if the game isn't good and deserves the poor scores. but with as long as they've taken to polish it, theres no reason for it to look or play in any way that could be misconstrued as bad. we might get a lot of "too reaslistic" but thats not bad i dont think.
i will be supremely disappointed, to be sure, but if there's any rage it will be directed at the dev, not the review. let's hope none of this will happen - although anything is possible.
I played a demo of GT5 and I enjoyed it allot(like other GT games). So even with the 'bad' ratings I'll be playing it allot.
I dont really care what some random reviewer says about the game, what they say doesn't determine whther i think the game is good and fun to play or not so they can say whatever the hell they want to say it certainly wont affect me in the slightest.
I absolutely cannot wait for the game afta waitin for so long, no reviewer nowhere will ruin that for me and the only thing that will is whether or not i think its fun to play, nothin else.
Im quietly optimistic it will turn out ok but i'll wait and see.....
Gamespot always gives mediocre ratings to realistic driving sim's - it's obvious that there's no one on their staff who enjoys that genre. If Polyphony Digital includes a "casual" difficulty level, and makes it the default, then Gamespot may enjoy it a whole lot more. Personally I don't care what sort of reviews it gets - my opinion of a game isn't dependent upon what other people say about it.
I spent 200 hours with Need For Speed: Shift. I absolutely loved that game. Gamespot gave it a 7. From reading their review, they obviously never even figured out that you could change the physics from casual all the way up to professional.

Personally no, I will laugh. It's a game I simply cannot see why it's so hyped. It looks so incredibly boring.
Almost 6 years in development, $60+ million on an exclusive plus all the delays, and I don't see anyway possible that it won't exceed everyone's expectations...
Anyone that gives it a bad review is most likely a 360 fanboy...

Every trailer is better than the last...
latest news.. delay again... wow... perhaps polyphony digital really wants to get 10 out of 10 from gamespot

Not really, I never really had an eye on the game...
But may God be damned if SW doesn't have a field day if it's crap.
I will be outrage. Game be delayed over 9000 times and if game be no good, I will be outrage.Guaracy-Yeah....this, seriously.
It's no freakin' excuse it should get a good ratings--not after all these 'game enhancing' delays. NONE....
But will that stop me from getting it? Nope, more than likely not.
i will be outraged if i've waited this long for this game and the racer AI ends up being as stupid as the AI in gran turismo 4
I'd be dissapointed sure, but it will never happen. Gran Turismo 5 is going to get 9.5 minimum, mark my words.
I could care less. Not planning on getting it, so why should it?
I can see System Wars going absolutely crazy if it does though (which I will be indulging myself in butter covered popcorn whilst hammering F5 for said event.)
outraged? nah man, cuz only opinion that matters is mine. cuz other ppls opinions mite be valid to themselves, but in the end i make the call if the game is good or not, and no rating is going to stop me or matter to me. cuz again, my opinion matters mostJoKeR_421well said my friend.
When i'm interested with a game, i listen to myself... i make reviews of my own... watch videos and read articles... read/watch other reviews for reference, but still decide on my own. there have been a lot of games that have not-so-good score, but i enjoyed playing them than those with 9.0+ ratings...
good examples are- Brigandine, Dynasty Tactics 2, Kessen 3, Uncharted, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and Medal of Honor...
me personally? Ill be laughing so hard that I wont care about it. seriously, i was looking forward to it but the time its taken I just hope that it gets bad reviews.
perviews already look poor to me, cars dont look realsitic, verylinear gameplay etc.
oh, and no im not buying it when it comes out before anyone asks me, i think ill opt for NFS instead.
I have seen plenty of videos and I have played many demos like the time trial of GT5 we used to have on PSN a couple of months ago, GT5:prologue and GT-HD. On top of that I have played every GT game... I know what to expect from GT5 regardless of reviews I know I will like the game a lot.
Each GT sequel is more like an improvement from the prior game. To some extend you could say that every GT game it' the same game over and over again like Pokemon. If you have played a GT game and you liked it then you are going to like GT5 but if you have never liked a GT game then you're not going to like GT5 even if it scores 10's across the board.
