The starter bundle now cost about 80 bucks, but then you have to get the nav controller for 25, and then the games/ more controllers. For me it just seems like too much of an investment

You can find a much better deal than that.

I bought Resistance Doomsday bundle (sharpshooter, eye, move controller, navi controller and resistance 3) for $69.99 from buy.com like 6 months ago. It was well worth it and then you add House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut, Killzone 3, Sports Champions and bunch of other move games for cheap.

i bought the move when it was on sale from gamestop, there was this deal where if u bought a starter pack which included sport champions and camera and move, ud get the navi controller for free and one of 3 games of ur choice for free as well. for $99.99 i do like the move, its a lil break from the actual DS3, which i use to play R3, KZ3, infamous 2, sorcery, LBP 2, and dead space extraction, and i like it, its not something ill always use or am anxious to use every time, but there are times where i like to use them for the games i mentioned. cuz they work so well

It definitely has it's place. Let the haters hate. I've seen the Tiger Woods bundle for as little as $50. (I think it was last year's game that was bundled with Move, although maybe they do it again this year). I wish I had got that bundle because I have to admit paying $99 for the Sports Champion bundle seems a bit silly at this point, but if you can get as part of a bundle and not much additional expense, it can be a fun little distraction. Especially if you want to play a few games with your family or whatever (Wii-style). I use it mostly for Tiger Woods, have played around with some other games and it works really well. Although I put it away for now. So I can't say it's an "essential" purchase, but it's a fun little gimmick that has it's place unless you literally live alone and just play games in your bedroom rather than out in the family room.

nope, and not planning to. motion controls are still a novelty....and if i want to play a game to simulate baseball...ill just go to the batting cages. if i wanted something to simulate me working out, i'd rather go to the gym. if i wanted to simulate dance moves, i'd rather go to a club

And if you want to simulate shooting a gun with a rail shooter, you can.....????????? Join the military? Gun range? Nah. Hunting? No way. Crazy shooting spree? No way!..... Easier to just play a rail shooting video game.

Or we could all just wait for the real Zombie apocalypse rather than enjoy a simulated rail shooting video game?

I ended up getting it in the bundle with KZ3, R3, Sharpshooter, Eye, and both controllers for it. Luckily the bundle ended up having the Move and all the accessorys only costing $10 (Since both games were $30 each if bought seperately and the total bundle was $70), if not it wouldn't have been worth it. Granted, the demos for Tumble and Echochrome 2 were good, but it's not something to really go out of the way and get unless it's in a good bundle deal.

Already own it but haven't touched it since the day it was purchased. Greatest regret of a purchase this generation, definitely.

I've had mine for a while. Don't use it often, but it's a nice change of pace to toss in Sports Champions or The Shoot and flail around for a bit.

I got it not long after it launched (via a PS3 bundle that I bought to replace the broken fat that Sony wouldn't cover just out of its warranty). I don't know what the **bleep** I was thinking, in hindsight. It's pretty awful. Technically it's more accurate than a regular Wiimote but the constant calibration, the silly glowing ball, and the horrible button placement make it a peripheral that's only interesting as a stumbling block in videogame history, kind of like owning a Virtual Boy.

I bought one at launch because I thought the hardware itself is very interesting, which it is in my opinion. But apart from some gimmicky games like Beat Sketchers and the LittleBigPlanet DLC I didnt use too often. However, I tried the Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles at a friend and must admit if you are into light gun shooting I would definitely give it a go!

Sadly, the only games I'd want the Playstation Move for are the light gun games, like House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut, Dead Space: Extraction, and...uh, I think there's a Time Crisis game, maybe? But, yeah, it's so damn expensive when you factor in the bundle, a second wand (because I wouldn't be buying those games to play them solo!) and the 'gun' controllers... I'd spend almost as much for a proper Move light gun setup as I spent my the actual PS3. And that's just ridiculous, when there aren't but 3-4 games that I really want to play with it. So, no, unless it falls to dirt cheap and/or someone at Sony gets on the stick and pushes for a House of the Dead: Overkill Mega Move Bundle that includes everything I need (including two wands/guns) for under $100, I doubt I'll ever buy Move.

Or we could all just wait for the real Zombie apocalypse rather than enjoy a simulated rail shooting video game?

I'm still hoping the Zombie Apocalypse will become a reality. I so want that to be the way society comes crashing down and the world ends.

I don't know...probably not. Every once in a great while I think "I should get that" but I never do. Too expensive and not enough games.

I do not own the playstation move because I tried the Nintendo wii. I only have 10 games for the Wii. Motion controlled gaming is not my favorite. So I didn't buy the PSmove.

As long as there are a high enough quality and quantity of games that support the hardware then I'd happily pay the admission for Move.,Uunfortunately it seems Move will continue to cater for the 'softcore' gamer.

While I'm not against motion controls at all, there needs to be some good software to use with the device before I consider investing in it. At this point, I don't see that happening with move.

There's not any "must have" games out there that require it, so no.

You obviously never played Sports Champions because the table tennis is awesome and so realistic unlike the wrist tennis wii game. Sports Champions is definitely a must have. Listen to the people who actually played table tennis game. Have you heard of Resistance 3, Killzone 3, House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut, Infamous 2, Little Big Planet 2, etc? I also recommend those games. You didn't know those games work with move?

I used to be like you and others who never played the move and discredited the move but then I actually played it and it completely changed my mind.
