I was a beta tester, it's sure not going to get bad Reviews, it's awesome funbigLLL
I'm really confused about Warhawk lately. People are constantly swaying back and forth over whether the game is good or if its bad. Some people say its a good game others say its a bad game. So at this point I'm not too sure of exactly what kind of game it really is as to how much quality comes with the game.

yea... i've been witnessing the same thing. damn shame too... since Warhawk is one of my biggest reasons to own a PS3.
bigLLL... what games have you been into before (to gauge what your gaming tastes are).
I don't think I'll be getting it even if it gets good review. It just didn't look that good. It looked like Halo. Running, jumping, shooting mindlessly while riding multiple vehicle.
Metal Gear Online is what I'll be getting.
well I cant see how it could be considered bad, ill tell you one thing, flying a warhawk is just awesome and the even better thing is i prefer using the sixaxis motion sensing over the analog sticks, its really responsive and feels natrual,I really dont see how anybody couldnt like it as far as online games go

hows the balance between land vehicles, warhawks, and being on-foot? is the game just a mad dash to the nearest vehicle?
I never let someone's opinion influence my buying decision. If the game looks interesting to me I'll buy it whether or not it got a good review or a bad one. A review is just someone's opinion and should always be taken with a grain of salt.nyc05
When it comes from these review mags and when you add up alot reviews together its not so much an opinion when everyone is giving a game bad reviews....it just means its a bad game. Yeah one review is pretty much an opinion but when you have about 20 reviews I don't view it show much as an opinion as I look at it more like how the game really is. Gamerankings.com is what I go by and based on my experience if the game is getting lots of good reviews I tend to like those games a hell of a lot more than the games getting bad reviews and I've been gaming for a long time and I still go by that.
Another thing about review mags is they have to be honest. If they start lying about games they lose their reputation, and this leading to lossing more business. The people that review the games are paid to do...so they can't be too bias about anything when their job is on the line and if they do lie about several games and if they get fired they may have a hard time getting a job because their job requires honesty and nobody wants to hire an unhonest reviewer that may disrupt their business.

It really depends who you play with. Newbs will always run to the nearest vechicle and take off. Good teammates will wait for other teammates to hop on the vechicle. There is alot of ground to cover in the game and the quickest way to travel is vehicles. As for balance its pretty good if you know the game. There is a counter for just about everything. You just have to know what it is. There were alot of people crying during the beta about this being too powerful or that being too powerful until other testers told them about counter measures.I'm just curious if you all would still buy the game if it got some bad reviews but it will still come with a headset?odin2019
Not sure tbh. I won't base my pruchase entirely on reviews but will decide whether the cost involved is worth it for an online only game. I've got BF2 and BF2142 and they don't get nearly enough attention for £25 products :(
Ade.
My mind is set to get Warhawk because its icognito and looks sweeeet.
Besides I got a game like Full Auto 2 even after seeing bad reviews and loved it.

excatly, i dont either, i honestly dont give 2 cents about others opinions on games, if i see a game that interests me, and i like wat i see, ill buy it regardless if it gets bad reviews or not, there are few games that got bad reviews, but still ppl like me loved them and got em anyways......if ur really uncertain of a game, just rent it, cuz if u listen to others who say its bad or good, they just tellin u that they like it....warhawk could be the best game in augest, ppl mite not like it and say mehh was ok, not gettin it, while others loved it, so either rent it, or go with ur guts feeling, i usually go with my gut feeling and so far 125% i was never wrong!! i swear to u, all games i owned since ps until now, i never looked at their reviews i just went out and got it, just recently when ps3 came out i start to snoop around to see wats up.

Then you must have a lot of money to waste.
I'm still getting this game no matter what, I know this is the kinda game that I'd enjoy but maybe not many others, for instance I'm a fan of DW games but they score really low, plus I NEED the headset!! its a really good deal for the bundle regular headsets cost $50+ alone.
Is Warhawk and download only game...?
WMDfreeman99
you can buy it on Blu Ray for $60 (you get the game, a Jabra BT125 Bluetooth headset, and some "behind the scenes" footage) , or you can download it over PSN for a cheaper price (PSN price not known yet; a Warhawk dev team member said that he believes it should cost $40).

so because somebody gives a game a bad review, and I still go buy it, that's wasting my money? Does it not matter if I liked the game?
so what if Lair gets a 4.0 from Gamespot and I still buy the game and love it, is that wasting my money?
I was a BETA tester and I was unimpressed, probably won't get it unless reviews are amazingthetombradyhate
so you don't really like the game...but if other people like it, you will buy it anyway?
