You need to sync it with your ps3 first... So take the usb cord and plug it in, and then turn it on... It will sync in a second and you'll be good to go after that... PS should had just bought the DS3 controller instead, but to each their own.damobster

Bad USB slot? Possibly bad USB cord? Try and charge a controller that works .. and if it does .. well you have crappy luck .. it's the gaming god telling you not to buy this controller .. take it back now ..
