Go with the 80gb. It has enough space and if you ever need to upgrade, you can get a cheap harddrive. :)
It is very easy to upgrade your ps3 hard drive. Only takes a few minutes.yes i do want uncharted and also i am planning on doiing all the option installs and dowloading a couple playstayion 1 games and stuff and also isnt it hard to upgrade thx

yeah it is easy to upgrade your HDD i did it to mine... 60GB to 250GB
Do you intend on putting music, movies, and photos on your PS3?
Do you plan on buying games off of the PSN?
If you answered yes to these questions, I highly recommend you buy the smallest HDD PS3 system. You can probably get a 40 GB for real cheap. THEN Upgrade your HDD.I just upgraded to 500 GB for $100 and I have more space than I could ever want or need.
I had an 80 GB model and my game installs, saves, PSN games, and a couple of movies off of the PSN basically ate up my whole HDD. Now I have everything from my old hard drive, plus my entire music and photo collection on my PS3. Even transferred some more movies over and I have 320 GB leftover. Maybe sometime in the next 10 years I'll fill everything up.
Take my advice. If you can find a 40 GB model for cheap, get that. The hardware is the exact same as the 80 and 160 GB models. Then do the upgrade.
Newegg.com is a great place to find a HDD. Remember you are looking for a 2.5" SATA laptop drive. 5400 RPM drive is what comes with the PS3, but you can go with 7200 RPM if you feel the need to. I went with a larger 5400 RPM drive and I'm happy.
